How morning rituals reduce stress

THis is why you should NEVER stop your morning routine, no matter how overwhelmed you are (And if you haven’t started one yet, start now!)

Here’s the thing, the morning ritual space is very masculine. We have self-help gurus like Tony Robbins telling us to jump in a freezing plunge pool and beat our chests for maximum productivity. OR when we get advice from women it’s always from very wealthy women who have a bit more time freedom than most of us.

So morning routines can feel inaccessible for many of us.

That’s why I like to refer to them as morning rituals. A ritual is personalised which makes them more motivating and easier to do.

Morning rituals are an essential part of mental and physical health. They help to keep us motivated, give us clarity, increase productivity, reduce stress and help our bodies function more effectively.

And that’s why morning rituals are so important when we are feeling excess amounts of stress and overwhelm.

They keep us grounded and help us feel like we have some control over our lives even when life is tough.

In this video I talk about the essential elements of an effective morning ritual and how to keep doing one even when life feels overwhelming.
