9 facts about meditation to make it a daily practice

I have often said, “As a personal trainer, if my client had only 10 minutes to dedicate to themselves every day then I would ask them to choose meditation rather than exercise.”  I know that might sound a bit crazy, but hear me out, I know this from personal experience.

I am a better person when I meditate.  There I said it…  It makes me kinder and more compassionate (not only to others but to myself too), it makes me more present, not only when I am meditating but also in the rest of my life and for these reasons it reduces my stress levels significantly.

Because meditation makes you less stressed, it can help you to feel more confident, more energised and more motivated which is exactly what you need to get back into exercise (which is why I choose meditation for my clients over exercise… one leads to the other).

I would love every person I have ever met (and even those I haven’t) to meditate.  Every day if possible.  However, I’m constantly bombarded with questions and excuses on why it’s not possible, so I have created this video, “9 facts about meditation to make it a daily practice”.
