The difference between seeing a counsellor and a health coach. And how both help with body love.
The one where I talk about the difference between counselling and coaching and how they are both helpful for body love. Highlights include:
Why I started seeing a counsellor.
A counsellor is perfect for mental health issues, especially if you are already doing healthy behaviours.
A health coach will help you learn to add healthy behaviours into your life like eating a balanced diet, finding an exercise routine you enjoy, managing stress and improving sleep.
Both will help to keep you accountable.

Why I’ve changed my health coaching to make it more accessible
I haven’t been doing much one on one coaching sessions since 2020 for a variety of reasons, but recently I found a new/old place to start seeing clients in person again. This allows for a private space to conduct health coaching sessions and I am excited to be able to offer face to face sessions again.
Health coaching is all about helping clients get back into healthy behaviours - eating well, moving their bodies, stress management and the like. We all know what we SHOULD be doing, but sometimes it’s hard to stay on track. That’s where I come in.
Also, a lot of people have been on restrictive diets and exercise plans in the past and feel burnt out in relation to “health”. I promise to help people with their health without weigh-ins or measurements. It’s a non-diet approach.
I now offer one off sessions rather than insisting you sign up for a package. My sessions are $75 for 45 minutes.
I have 4 spots available most Thursdays
2.45pm
3.45pm
4.45pm
