4 ways moon mapping helps you to live your best life! (Mind, Body & Spirit)
Moon mapping is when you track the phases of the moon and use the energy of the phase to help make lifestyle choices. I’ve been doing this for several years now and have seen the benefits of using the energy of the different phases of the moon to help me live my best life.
There are 4 main phases of the moon (to be precise there are 8, but for me using 4 makes it much easier), and each phase has a completely different energy to it.
🌚The new moon (and the days called the balsamic phase leading up the new moon) is all about being quiet and taking time to rest while setting intentions and wishes for the coming month.
🌒The waxing moon phase is a great time to take action. As the moon grows in the sky, so does our confidence and our energy levels.
🌝The full moon is a time to shine brightly and transform into who we are meant to be.
🌖The waning moon is a time to be grateful for all we’ve achieved and start to wind down in time for another new moon rest time.

2. To help me understand other people’s moods and energy levels and be more compassionate if people aren’t being their usual selves.
3. To help women who no longer menstruate track and understand their moods.
4. To tune into our spiritual sides and take a more feminine approach to life.
As a personal trainer, the most important way I use moon mapping is to plan my exercise regimens. There is no point pushing through a hard-core exercise routine during the new moon, it’s just not going to work. And asking someone to lie still in a yin yoga class during the full moon might be just a bit too much to ask!
