I’ve been practicing yoga for over 25 years and teaching for 8. But it’s only this year that I’ve been consciously practicing yoga every day.

My aim was to give myself a project to distract myself from the pain I was experiencing with endometriosis, to deepen my knowledge of this wonderful and ancient practice, and to disrupt the yoga world by showing a larger, older, not-so-flexible body practicing on social media.

So far, I am blown away by how great I feel. My endo pain has reduced to almost nil (I’m doing a few more things for this too). I am learning so much about yoga and loving it more and more each day. And I’m learning to appreciate this big old body even more than before.
